We had a delicious breakfast this morning! I only like to eat out when its something I can't make better at home and my raspberry ricotta pancakes was just that!! The kids menu was great, lots of sweet or savory items to choose from. My husband also enjoyed his eggs benedict. Tip!! Get on the waitlist before you head out, it works great! Pretty busy and noisy, my child was ready for quiet by the time we finished eating.
The food here is absolutely amazing. The Korean potatoes are a must to add to any meal! My husband doesn’t like eggs Benedict but ordered the short rib one and it was wonderful. Enough for two to share. We also ordered the blueberry pancakes, which are out of this world. Was way too much to eat. The restrained it a cafe style so is a bit tight. The food is really worth it.
My wife and I recently visited Brekkie for breakfast, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. Despite not having a reservation and the restaurant being quite busy, we were able to get a table right away, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated with festive decor, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was our first visit, and we decided to stop in for a quick breakfast. I ordered the Classic Brekkie, which included 4 sunny side up eggs, sourdough bread, double smoked bacon, and a medley of hand-cut crispy potatoes. My wife, who follows a keto diet, opted for 2 poached eggs, bacon, and a salad. I also had a black coffee, which I found decent. The food came out quickly and was very good. While we didn't order anything too complex, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. The ingredients were fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. The cozy setting of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. We are already looking forward to coming back and trying more items from their menu. Brekkie has certainly earned a spot on our list of favourite breakfast spots!
I’m really glad we were able to get a table, as this place gets very busy on Sundays for brunch. The poutine I ordered was surprisingly filling, which is rare for me, so I appreciated the generous portion. My only complaint is that the beef short rib seemed underseasoned or perhaps needed a longer marinade—it lacked flavor. The Salmon Benny was similar to what you'd find at other brunch spots in Calgary. Our server was excellent, and overall, we had a great experience with no major complaints
The best brunch spot in Calgary! The service is spectacular and friendly, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the food is so delicious, both sweet and savory, exquisite! The waitlist is 100% worth it. The pancakes are out of this world: fluffy, soft, full of flavor and freshness. I love it! If you're thinking about going to Brekkie, don't hesitate! We had mushroom pesto parmesan , Barbacoa beef short ribs and caramel apple pancakes. They were so delicious and staff were super friendly. Make sure to join their wait list online during weekend before leaving home. It’s gonna be one of our regular places for sure!
I don’t even like pancakes, but I can get suckered into anything if it looks cool enough. I thankfully ordered the pancakes and they not only looked amazing but we’re the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The cake part of it was very dense and not like regular pancakes and the outside of the pancakes had an amazing crispness. The whole dish was excellent. My wife got the chicken and waffles and they were also amazing. Good coffee as well and I’d love to try and figure out how to make those pancakes
